Lighting Controls for Non-Residential Buildings

Wednesday March 8, 2017

Mark Terzano

This course provides an in depth review of commonly used lighting controls including various protocols, new technologies, types of products and programming capabilities of lighting control systems. It will also cover Title 24 requirements for many types of lighting controls and capabilities in new construction and major renovations in commercial buildings to save energy. Some studies have shown that the largest single source of energy savings in lighting systems in many types of modern buildings is the implementation of proper controls. Beyond that, lighting controls help the lighting system meet the unique requirements of each client and building.
Mark Terzano has over 30 year’s experience working with Lutron to facilitate the specification and proper installation of lighting controls in the lighting community.
